The Rivolt rods are the perfect choice for beginners and enthusiasts who want great value, or for anglers in need of a “second priority” or spare rod. This series is a further development of the former Stoked range, with improvements in both casting and fishing performance, as well as in materials and technology. These are fantastic rods at a very affordable price — high-value products that still perform at a high level. The series includes what we call the “key models” and covers a wide variety of fishing styles. Rivolt rods are built with high-quality guides, reel seats, and cork handles that provide a premium feel at a great price.

The blanks are unpolished, which not only creates a “high- tech” visual effect but also reduces swing weight and enhances the crisp feel of the rod when casting. From an environmental perspective, this is also beneficial, as no carbon dust is produced during manufacturing. Each rod comes in a high-quality tube and bag made from recycled materials. The single-hand rods in the Rivolt series have a mid-to-tip flex, making them easy to cast and giving them a very light, crisp feel thanks to the lightweight tip section. The double-hand rods have a bit more power in the tip section, giving them a primarily mid-flex action and making them perfect for all types of Spey casting.

Single hand

8’6” #4 & 9’ #5 are your typical light to standard trout rods — perfect for fishing in small to mid-sized waters for all types of trout and grayling. The 8’6” #4 is great for streams and smaller rivers, as well as lake fishing in calmer conditions. A 9’ #5 is what many anglers consider one of the most versatile line weights for all-round trout fishing, and it’s a great choice for dry flies and light nymphs.

9’ #6 and #7 are more specialized rods and line weights, ideal for streamer fishing in rivers, lakes, and coastal waters. The 9’ #6 is an excellent “in-between” rod that will easily throw a streamer yet still present a dry fly with finesse. If dedicated streamer or coastal fishing is your focus, the 9’ #7 is built to excel in that field.

10’ #6 and #7 carry the same line weights as the 9’ models, but the extra foot makes them a better choice for lakes and reservoir fishing. Thanks to their versatile rod action, they also perform exceptionally well for migratory fishing in rivers and streams — perfect for targeting sea trout and salmon.
